Wales: 100 Records | Huw Stephens in conversation with Georgia Ruth

Join broadcasters Huw Stephens and Georgia Ruth for a special event on Huw’s new book, Wales: 100 Records, which analyses the careers of the most important recording artists that Wales has ever produced – from Tom Jones to Manic Street Preachers, from Max Boyce to Adwaith and more.

Huw Stephens presents his daily drivetime show on BBC Radio 6 Music, guest presents on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live and hosts weekly shows in both English and Welsh on BBC Radio Wales and Cymru. Starting his career on BBC Radio 1, he co-founded the Welsh Music Prize and Cardiff's Sŵn Festival, and is a regular on the BBC's coverage of the Glastonbury Festival.

Georgia Ruth is a musician and broadcaster from Aberystwyth. Her album Week of Pines won the 2013 Welsh Music Prize, and June sees her release her new album, Cool Head. She currently hosts a weekly show on BBC Radio Cymru.

Event held through the medium of Welsh – simultaneous translation provided.
